Lena Luca is overtaking the scene with their fervid melodies, which erupt from an explosive dark electronic dance bed with sprinkles of heavy rock. Their catchy hooks have endeared a quickly-growing fanbase and are turning heads with, as Buzz Music acknowledged: “powerful vocals” and an “outstanding falsetto”.

 

Though the pandemic delayed the debut of their live show, Lena made the most of their down time, writing and recording a bounty of content with their frequent collaborator, producer Justin Mauriello, the former Zebrahead frontman, and getting to record with musicians like Adrian Young, drummer of No Doubt. Lena since departed and began producing their own music in 2022, releasing several singles and a new music video as well as playing with artists like Remi Wolf and Urban Heat and being featured in the 2022 CDBaby Musicians Conference. In 2023, Lena performed their first Official SXSW showcase as well as shared a bill with the lovable indie pop duo Sylvan Esso. Lena took a brief hiatus in 2024 to pursue their Techno and Psytrance persona SPRRØW, and is coming back stronger than ever with new skills on a self produced full length album, headed in a darker and even more dancable direction.
